Definitions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the following words are used in these Terms, this is what they mean:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Credit File<\/strong>: the information held about you by a Credit Reference Agency, as described in section 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Products<\/strong>: the free credit information services and tools we provide, including your credit score, credit report, and related features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Terms<\/strong>: the terms and conditions set out in this document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Credit Reference Agency<\/strong>: an organisation that provides credit reference and credit scoring services which we use to deliver our Products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>References to <strong>\u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d and \u201cour\u201d<\/strong> mean My Credit Score LTD.<br>References to <strong>\u201cyou\u201d and \u201cyour\u201d<\/strong> mean you, the user of our Products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Your Contract with Us<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These Terms govern your use of our Products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By registering for and using our Products, you agree to these Terms, which form a binding agreement between you and us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend that you keep a copy of these Terms for your records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. About Us<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are <strong>My Credit Score LTD<\/strong>, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 9511750), with our registered office at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6 Acorn Business Park, Heaton Lane, Stockport, England, SK4 1AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our details can be found on the Financial Services Register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are a <strong>credit broker, not a lender<\/strong>.<br>We may receive a commission from lenders or partners if you choose to take out a financial product through our platform. This does not affect the service you receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Your Credit File<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To provide our Products, we obtain information about you from a Credit Reference Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identity verification data (e.g. electoral roll)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial account information (e.g. loans, credit cards, utilities)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This information forms your <strong>Credit File<\/strong>, which you can view through our platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A record of your request to access your Credit File may be logged but will not be visible to lenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Accuracy of Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We do not control the data held by Credit Reference Agencies and therefore cannot guarantee that your Credit File is accurate, complete, or up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you believe any information is incorrect, you have the right to request correction. You may:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact the provider directly, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask us to assist you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. Our Products<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide a range of tools and services designed to help you understand and improve your financial position, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Credit score and report<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Credit factors and insights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personalised recommendations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial tools and calculators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All Products are provided <strong>free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No subscription fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No usage charges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No cancellation fees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. Registration and Access<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To use our Products, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Register an account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide accurate information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep your login details secure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Products are available to <strong>UK residents only<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Closing Your Account<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may close your account at any time by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Logging into your account and following the closure process, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contacting our customer support team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your account is closed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will lose access to your Products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your historic data (including credit reports) may no longer be available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As our Products are free, there are <strong>no charges or refunds associated with closing your account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. Your Obligations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide accurate and truthful information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the Products for personal, non-commercial use only<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not misuse, copy, or distribute our services or content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not attempt to disrupt or damage our systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. Ownership of Content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All intellectual property rights in our Products and website are owned by us or our licensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may only use our Products as permitted under these Terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11. Use on Behalf of Others<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Products are intended for your personal use only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may only act on behalf of another person where you have legal authority to do so (e.g. power of attorney).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12. Website Use<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use of our website is also subject to our Website Terms of Use, which form part of this agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13. Promotions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From time to time, we may offer additional features or services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless clearly stated otherwise, our core Products remain <strong>free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14. Suspension or Termination<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may suspend or terminate your access if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We suspect fraud<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You breach these Terms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Where possible, we will investigate and restore access if no breach is confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15. Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Death or personal injury caused by negligence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decisions made by lenders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Changes to your credit score<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Errors in third-party data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>16. Events Outside Our Control<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technical failures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network outages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>External system issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>17. Your Personal Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may share data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With Credit Reference Agencies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To prevent fraud<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where required by law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>18. Changes to Terms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may update these Terms from time to time.<br>Where changes are significant, we will notify you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>19. Complaints<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a complaint, please contact us via our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are not satisfied, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>20.
