Choose somewhere that means something to you, a place you\u2019ve both\nbeen thinking about visiting for a while, or where you went on your first\nholiday together. Think about other places that you can use as a\nvenue for your wedding, such as at your home, the beach or a public park. These\noptions are free, as long as you have the relevant permissions. Using an\noutdoor space will make for some very tasteful and intimate photos \u2013 as long as\nweather provisions are in place in case of rain or extreme heat<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find somewhere with a view and choose a date where you\u2019re\nlikely to see better weather and you\u2019ll be good to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Less_expensive_rings\"><\/span>Less expensive rings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Think about the practicality of the rings you are buying \u2013\nyou don\u2019t need to spend thousands. Keep an eye on the prices, as you\u2019ll be\nlikely to see sales outside of the wedding season. If you\u2019re quite crafty, you\nmay enjoy doing some decorations yourself instead of buying them. Once again,\nthis can be a nice evening for you and your friends. At a wedding I went to\nrecently the bride made homemade limoncello as wedding favours. It took a lot\nof time to make, then decant into the little bottles, but it saved them a lot\nof money compared to buying individual bottles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stock_the_bar_yourself\"><\/span>Stock the bar yourself<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Having an open bar at your wedding can be pricey, especially\nif all of the spirits are on offer! Think about buying the alcohol yourself in\nadvance, this fixes the cost for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t feel obliged to have an open bar. You can have a tab\nopen for close friends and family, or those who helped you a lot with the\nwedding planning. Plenty of people choose not to have an open bar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Plan_an_off-season_wedding\"><\/span>Plan an off-season wedding<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you choose dates that aren\u2019t between May and October,\nthen you\u2019ll possibly get much lower quotes when you are searching for venues,\ncatering, flowers, tuxedo rental, photographers, and even wedding dresses. If\nyou\u2019re planning on using an expensive venue, this option can cut the costs, and\nstill be just as elegant and attractive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose to use the season as part of your theme, using browns, reds, and oranges during the autumn months, and blues during winter. Don\u2019t assume that your venue will be cold during the winter, either. When you visit the venue, be sure to ask about the temperature, and whether there\u2019s a way they can keep it warm for you.
